Prior to joining True Energy Keith ran his own consultancy business offering advice, project management and support to Government Agencies and their delivery organisations. Previously, Keith was Skills Director with the Learning and Skills Council and Director of HR Strategy and Planning for the Heart of England TEC. Keith brings the True team considerable skills and experience in business strategy, organisational development, general management, the development and implementation of strategy and HR.

John Barker
FCA, Finance Director & Company Secretary

John, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, has served as Finance Director of both NMW Computers Plc and award winning Halo Foods Plc. John was also the Chairman of Crewe Development Agency for 16 years. A central member of True Energy’s management team, John brings broad City experience to True’s development given the multinational nature of our clients and the rapid growth of the renewable energy industry

Ian Tansley
Technical Director

A leading figure in the renewable energy industry, Ian was involved in the development of the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales. With an MSc from Cranfield University, Ian is a World Class Solar Power design engineer with more than 20 years experience of solar technologies; he has designed and deployed solar solutions for a wide range of clients worldwide including World Bank, World Health Organisation and the UN.

Peter Saunders OBE
Business Angel & Major Investor

Peter established his business reputation in the food industry, creating and building the award winning Halo Foods group. His entrepreneurial spirit and exacting standards gained Peter much admiration from his peers in the industry. In 1995 he was awarded an OBE for his services to the food industry. His other accolades include a Sunday Telegraph food marketing award, the Daily Post Business Personality of the Year and being runner up as the Deloitte &Touché European Business Person of the Year. With a number of investments, Peter was awarded “Best Investment in Technology Sector” by British Business Angels Association for his investment in TRUE Energy.
