 Biomass
Biomass, sometimes referred to as
“Bio fuel”, is any organic material made
from plants or animals. Examples of
biomass fuels are wood, crops, manure, and
some domestic waste. High efficiency wood
chip or pellet burning boilers are used to
produce heat or steam to make electricity, or
to provide heat to industries and homes.
A wood pellet project completed by our
sister company Bright Light Solar for the Old
School in Eglwysfach, near Machynlleth in
Wales was commissioned in November
2007 with a 20 KW rating. The project took
three months from design to commissioning
and is the first of its type in the UK.
